What is combed cotton?

Combed cotton is still the natural fabric we know and love, but it goes through an extra treatment stage during manufacture to remove the short fibers which can normally break and fray. This results in a material which is softer and stronger than regular cotton, keeping your tootsies in luxurious comfort all day long!

We also add a dash of nylon for durability, and a sprinkle of spandex for smooth stretchiness, so our socks are for feet of all shapes and sizes.

How can I find out if you will be getting a restock?

Sometimes our products have limited stock and sell out quickly, but it is worth checking back as the site is regularly updated.

How do I care for my socks?

No one likes those bobbly bits on socks, and whilst combed cotton will help protect against them, they still need some TLC to keep them looking fresh.

Our socks prefer a gentle warm wash using mild detergent, nothing over 40 degrees. Washing them inside out too will help prevent abrasion from other items in the wash, whilst getting the inside nice and clean! After washing, our socks like some alone time, so leave them to air dry flat and avoid tumble drying or ironing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay.

We also accept payment by PayPal. If you decide to use this method, you’ll be taken to the PayPal website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to us once your transaction is complete.

My discount code didn't work?

Firstly, make sure the code is entered exactly as it appears and hasn't expired. Then check the discount is applicable to the item you are buying. If it's still not working, drop us an email so we can help fix it.

Order

Where is my order?

If your order still hasn't arrived after the typical delivery time, send us a quick email with your order number so we can help locate it!

Please note that during these Covid-19 times, there may be slight delays to some postal services which means delivery can take a little longer than usual. 

Where is my order confirmation?

Once you order, the confirmation should be sent to the email address used at checkout. If it hasn't arrived, give your spam/junk folder a quick check in case it's snuck into there. If you still cannot find it, log into your account to confirm your order was processed, and if you are still having trouble please get in touch!

Can I cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us within 2 hours after ordering, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll send your order and then you can return it to us if you wish upon receiving it.

What should I do if my order is missing?

If you have not received your order within the allotted delivery time frame, please get in touch with us with your order number, so we can help locate your delivery or send a replacement.

What do I do if I've received the wrong item?

Oops, sorry about that! If you have received the wrong item, please email with your order number and we can organise a return and replacement.

Industrial Action

We are operating as normal however we may experience some disruptions to postal services due to ongoing industrial action, so please be aware that your order might take a little longer to arrive.

Do you ship to my country?

Yes! Our products are available for worldwide delivery.

What happens if nobody is in when my order is delivered?

Not to worry. If you aren't home it may be left in a safe place of your choosing, with a neighbour or you will receive a 'We Missed You' card explaining all the details of how to grab it from your local depot. Don't forget to take the card and a form of photo ID with you!

Can I change my shipping address?

If after placing your order you realise you provided the wrong shipping address, please contact us within 2 hours of placing your order.

Returns

I received a faulty item

Oh no! We are really sorry about that. We're more than happy to arrange a refund or replacment for you. Please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the item and we can process the solution. 

Can I return or exchange an item?

You can absolutely return your item to us, within 14 days after receiving it, as long as it’s undamaged, unused and contained in its original packaging.

If you would like to exchange, please return the item you have and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

How do I return an item?

Please drop us an email with your order number and we will let you know the correct return address. Easy peasy!

Where is my refund?

Once we have notified you that we have received your return, please allow up to 3 working days for it to be processed. It can then take up to 10 working days for your bank or credit card company to transfer the funds into your account.

If you have not been notified by us that your return has been received, please get in touch and attach a picture of your proof of postage, confirm your order number and item(s) you returned. We will get back to you as soon as possible!

I'm having trouble signing into my account, what should I do?

Yikes! Firstly, please try resetting your password. If this doesn't work, contact us at hello@giftracer.com with your account details and we will try to fix it from behind the scenes!

Do I need to set up an account to make an order?

Nope! If you would rather not set up an account with us, just choose the option to checkout as a guest. All you will need is your contact and shipping information.

Is my personal information kept private?

Of course! In accordance to the data protection act we will keep your information private and secure. For more information, check out our privacy policy.
